Khwan Suan was founded in 2018 by a small group of families who recognized the need for a different kind of senior care in the Bang Saray area. Having experienced firsthand the challenges of finding appropriate support for aging relatives, they envisioned a place where older adults could maintain their sense of self while receiving the assistance they needed.
The name "Khwan Suan" translates to "garden spirit" in Thai, reflecting our belief that later life should be a time of continued growth, connection, and peace. Our location near the coast was chosen deliberately — the sea breezes, the gentle rhythm of coastal life, and the proximity to local communities all contribute to an environment where residents can feel both connected and at ease.
From the beginning, our mission has been straightforward: to provide thoughtful, dignified support that respects each person's individuality. We understand that every older adult comes to us with a lifetime of experiences, preferences, and relationships. Our role is to honor that history while helping create a comfortable present.
We have grown steadily over the years, expanding our programs to include not only residential care but also community-based social activities and family support services. What has remained constant is our commitment to treating each resident and program participant as we would want our own family members to be treated — with patience, respect, and genuine kindness.
Today, Khwan Suan serves both residents who live with us full-time and community members who participate in our social programs. We work closely with families throughout the process, from initial conversations through settling in and beyond, recognizing that transitions can be difficult for everyone involved.

Director of Care
With over 15 years of experience in elder support services, Somchai oversees daily operations and ensures each resident receives personalized attention suited to their needs.
Niracha Pramoj
Community Program Coordinator
Niracha designs and leads our social engagement activities, drawing on her background in cultural programming to create meaningful experiences for participants.
Kanya Srisai
Family Liaison
Kanya works directly with families navigating care decisions, providing guidance, support, and regular communication throughout the transition process and beyond.

Every resident and program participant receives an individualized care plan developed in consultation with them and their families. We adapt our support as needs and preferences evolve over time.

Our facility is designed with senior safety in mind, featuring accessible layouts, adequate lighting, and emergency response systems. Staff receive ongoing training in elder care best practices.
